Movie News

Jenny and I saw two great movies this month. Sideways and The Incredibles are both excellent. Alexander Payne is probably the best director working today. I'm looking forward to catching up on some of his films that I missed, Citizen Ruth and About Schmidt. Hopefully this bodes well for the upcoming holiday movie season. I'm looking forward to Bad Education, House of Flying Daggers, A Series of Unfortunate Events, and a whole bunch of "dumb" movies, like Ocean's Twelve, National Treasure, Meet the Fockers, etc. And perhaps if I keep my expectations low, I'll be able to enjoy Bottle Rocket IV: The Life Aquatic. Fingers are crossed.
