I played in the annual Lucky Chances "49er Gold Rush" tournament series. This was the lowest buy-in No Limit Hold Em event. I placed 8th out of 160. I had KK, KK, AA in the first level. At the end, I had to go all in with Jack-Ten offsuit. Such is poker. In the Spring, I finished 7th in the corresponding "Battle of the Bay" event. Yea, me.
